Huskie Robotics Visit District Science Summer Camp

On Friday, June 20th, members of Huskie Robotics met up at Kingsley Elementary School for a presentation at District 203’s summer science camp.  As the kids crowded in, the students gave a brief overview of the FIRST organization.  After learning the basics of the FRC competition and our design process, the kids were divided into groups.  They were taught about the robot itself, our use of sensors, how the control box and programming functions, and how the team works as a whole. There was also time for Q & A.  Although they loved the information, the kids were most interested in seeing Sally working in full force.  The team will be back next Friday for a similar demo!
