From March 23-26, 2015, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) and its trade associations, the Robotic Industries Association (RIA), AIA – the global association for vision and imaging, and the Motion Control Association (MCA), organized the largest solutions-based showcase of automation technologies. Held at the McCormick Place in Chicago, companies that integrate automation, robotics and machine vision showed actual demonstrations of systems. The rest of the show featured the latest automation, robotic, vision and motion control technologies and systems on display from leading global suppliers such as Mitsubishi Electric Automation and Panasonic.
A few members of Huskie Robotics traveled to Chicago to attend this massive and inspiring event.
“We went to the McCormick Place and set up our robot station. We had our own little cement area to drive Annie around and many business professionals came by with questions about Annie and the team in general”, said Afsanneh, a current member of Huskie Robotics. “We all took turns leaving our robot station to walk around the exhibit. There were an abundance of amazing other robots created by professionals. It was an incredible experience to actually see the robots in action and question the various companies behind their making.”
